A ceiling type air conditioner having auxiliary outlets is provided to form auxiliary outlets at corners of a front panel for uniformly discharging air passing through a heat exchanger into a room with an increased flow rate, thereby improving cooling/heating efficiency with reduced power consumption. A ceiling type air conditioner having auxiliary outlets includes a case(130) of which a surface part is opened, a fan motor unit(140) formed in the case, and a heat exchanger(150) mounted in the case around the fan motor unit. A front panel(160) covers the opened front surface part of the case and has an air inlet(161) and four main air outlets(162) formed around the air inlet with a distance from each other in the shape of rectangle. At least one of corners intersecting lengthwise extension lines of the main air outlets is formed with an auxiliary air outlet(164). |
