<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technologies which can reboot an operating system without waiting acquisition of dump information if troubles occur in an operating computer. <P>SOLUTION: In a method for high-speed rebooting an operating system of a computer in which troubles occur, if troubles occur in an operating computer in which the operating system is active, a processor directs the separation of OS storage devices from the operating computer and the connection of the OS storage devices to an alternative computer.
