<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an excellent NOx reduction effect from an exhaust temperature lower than a conventional one, even in a vehicle in an operation mode where an operation state at low exhaust temperature continues for a long time. <P>SOLUTION: In relation to this exhaust emission control device composed by interposing a selective reduction type catalyst 10 allowing NOx to be selectively reacted with ammonia even in an exhaust pipe 9 (exhaust passage) for guiding an exhaust gas 7 from an engine 1 and provided with an urea water adding device 19 for adding urea water 17 in the exhaust gas 7 as a reduction agent on the upstream side of the selective reduction type catalyst 10, a mixer 18 for diffusing the exhaust gas 7 to facilitate dispersion of the urea water 17 is arranged between an adding position of the urea water 17 (the position of an opening of an injection nozzle 13) by the urea water adding device 19 and the selective reduction type catalyst 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
