PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability of a fixed type constant velocity universal joint wherein large spherical surface force is generated especially at high torque. SOLUTION: The fixed type constant velocity universal joint is provided with an outer ring 10 having a plurality of ball grooves 14 extending to an opening end to the axial direction in equal intervals along the circumferential direction on an inner peripheral surface 12, an inner ring 20 having a plurality of ball grooves 24 extending to the axial direction at equal intervals along the circumferential direction on an outer peripheral surface 22, a plurality of balls 30 intervening between the ball groove 14 of the outer ring 10 and the ball groove 24 of the inner ring 20 paired therewith and transmitting the torque, and a cage 40 intervening between the inner spherical surface 12 of the outer ring 10 and the outer spherical surface 22 of the inner ring 20 and having a pocket for storing the ball 30 along the circumferential direction. One of the following relationships is satisfied; an inside diameter Roc of a center part of the inner spherical surface 12 of the outer ring 10 is smaller than an inside diameter ROe of both ends; an outside diameter Ric of a center part of an outer spherical surface 22 of the inner ring 20 is larger than an outside diameter RIe of both ends; an outside diameter RCOc of a center part of an outer spherical surface 42 of the cage 40 is larger than an outside diameter RCOe of both ends; and an inside diameter RCIc of a center part of an inner spherical surface 44 of the cage 40 is smaller than an inside diameter RCIe of the both ends.
