PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loading roller suitably usable in the use of carrying a disk-like recording medium. SOLUTION: The loading roller 21 is provided with a pair of roller main bodies 22 and a plurality of projection parts 23. The respective roller main bodies 22 are formed in a cylindrical shape from a rubber-like elastic body, and the outer diameter of the respective roller main bodies 22 is gradually reduced from the outer end of the roller main bodies 22 to the inner end. The respective projection parts 23 are formed in a square plate shape so as to be extended from the rubber-like elastic body along the axial direction of the respective roller main bodies 22. Further, the respective projection parts 23 are formed at equal angle intervals on the outer peripheral surface from the inner end to the center of the roller main bodies 22. The maximum height from the outer peripheral surface of the roller main bodies 22 of the respective projection parts 23 is set to be larger than the thickness of the respective projection parts 23.
