PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to easily recognize both images even when projection areas overlap on a projecting face by corresponding projection means when image information is projected onto a screen by the use of the plurality of projection means. SOLUTION: The multi-projection system includes: at least first and second projection means for projecting images onto the projecting face; a projection area detecting means for detecting the image display area of at least one of first and second projection sections projected within the projecting face by the first and the second projecting means; and a projection area control means for controlling at least one of the image display areas projected on the first and the second projection sections, based on the detection result of the projection area detecting means.
