PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a converter for an endoscope apparatus capable of using an endoscope apparatus regardless of a country and a region and facilitating to master the operation of the endoscope apparatus in the converter for the endoscope apparatus for use in the endoscope apparatus having an electronic endoscope, a processor for the electronic endoscope, a monitor and the like. SOLUTION: This converter for the endoscope apparatus is provided with: a power supply input terminal where alternating currents from a plurality of types of commercial AC power supplies are selectively input; an insulated transformer transforming the alternating voltage input via the power supply input terminal into an alternating voltage of a prescribed voltage value; the power supply output terminal part to be connected to the endoscope apparatus through which the AC power converted by the insulated transformer is supplied to the endoscope apparatus; and a key code conversion means converting a key code of a keyboard signal input via a keyboard input terminal and sending it to the keyboard output terminal.
