Solar collector has energy absorber to absorb radiation energy. The energy absorber is located on a mineral heat insulating plate on a base of lightweight concrete. The heat insulating plate is fiber-free and emission-free. It is corrosion-resistant. It consists of porous lightweight concrete on a base of quartz sand and a hydraulic binding agent. It is waterproof and can be recycled.
