OPTICAL SHEET FOR DISPLAY AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a sheet-shaped laminate used for a liquid crystal display element in a step simpler than conventional one at low costs and with high quality.

SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of an optical sheet includes a laminating step for disposing and laminating optical sheets 12 and 16 whose surfaces have sizes larger than a product size on the front surface and/or the rear surface of at least one lens sheet 14 whose surface has a size larger than the product size and in which convex lenses formed in one axis direction are adjacently disposed on the nearly entire surface thereof, a cutting step for cutting the peripheral edge of the laminate of the optical sheets and the lens sheet in the product size and a joining step for joining the lens sheet and the optical sheets at least at one part of the peripheral edge.
