<p>The shredding device for office purposes for shredding sheets of paper assembled into a pile, with a shredding mechanism located in the housing (4) of a shredding unit (2), has a separating unit positioned in advance of the shredding mechanism for the individual drawing off of sheets from the pile. The separating unit has a storage surface (6) for the pile of sheets and this has a sheet drawing off component which enables the drawing off of the respectively freed sheet.</p> |
