PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption without increasing the spring constant of a spring to support a movable part and without increasing natural frequency in a camera shake preventing device. SOLUTION: The camera shake correcting device is equipped with: a supporting member for holding the movable part in which a correction optical system or an imaging device is mounted movably in a direction orthogonal to an optical axis; and a driving member for driving the movable part in the direction orthogonal to the optical axis. Then, the natural frequency of the movable part caused by the movable part and the supporting member is set to be≤15Hz or within 4.5Hz to 8.5Hz, which is in a camera shake frequency area.
