PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll paper holder which can house roll paper independently of whether or not the roll paper has a core, has high seal to prevent the roll paper from becoming dirty and getting wet, can be free re-installed at another position, and enables easy take-out of the housed roll paper. SOLUTION: The roll paper holder comprises an approximately cylindrical housing body 1 having a taking-out opening 1a formed linearly along the outer surface to pull out the roll paper, a support part 2 turnably and removably supporting the outer surface of the housing body 1, foots 3 capable of being flatly placed, and a pair of side plates 4 fixed to both ends of the foots 3 keeping a slightly broader space than the length of the housing body 1 and covering both right and left openings of the housing body 1.
