PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the scattering of condensed water in an air conditioner for a vehicle. SOLUTION: When determining that it is required to rapidly increase air blow quantity (Step 131), an electronic control device 50 increases blower voltage to outflow start voltage once before increasing the blower voltage to required blower voltage, and holds the voltage value for a certain period (Step 134). Along with this, before increasing air blow quantity of an air blower 20 to required air blow quantity, the electronic control device 50 increases current air blow quantity to outflow start air quantity, and then holds the outflow start air quantity for a certain period without changing it. Thus, condensed water generated on the surface of an evaporator 30 is pressed by wind pressure by the outflow start air quantity, started to flow, and dropped to a floor face of an indoor air conditioning casing 10.
