摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently emit a light having a wavelength different from that of a light from a light-emitting element while reducing color unevenness with a strength of not less than a predetermined value maintained. <P>SOLUTION: A blue light emitted from a semiconductor light-emitting element 2 is transmitted through a sealing resin 3 and arrives at a wavelength conversion portion 4 in which a phosphor 41 is formed on an upper surface 400 of a transparent base material 40 on an opening of a recess portion 10 of a substrate 1. Subsequently, the phosphor 41 thinly formed at a high concentration is excited by the blue light having arrived at the wavelength conversion portion 4, and a yellow light having a wavelength different from that of the blue light is emitted. Finally, a white light is emitted from the wavelength conversion portion 4 to the outside by a combination of the blue light emitted from the semiconductor light-emitting element 2 and the yellow light emitted from the phosphor 41. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
