PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly respond to addition of a new device. SOLUTION: The device control system comprises a plurality of devices 40A-40M; device control terminals 30A-30M installed with device control programs for controlling any one of the devices; a management terminal 20A managing the device control terminals 30A-30M; a business terminal 10 using the devices 40A-40M. A data storage part of the management terminal 20A stores a connecting destination management table in which identification information of a function to be provided to the business terminal 10 is associated with identification information of a device control program contributing to attainment of the function. The management terminal 20A reads, upon receipt of a session establishment request, identification information associated with a function category ID contained in the session establishment request from the connecting destination management table, and transmits a session establishment command to the device control program shown by the identification information.
