摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for robustly and surely converting the boundary data of an object into in-cell shape data in a cell complex where rectangular parallelepiped cells whose boundary planes are orthogonal are assembled without any clearance, and for reducing a computational load. SOLUTION: This conversion method comprises a cutting point calculation step S3 for defining a cell complex including boundary data 7, and for calculating a cutting point 9 where the ridge line or vertex of a parallelepiped cell configuring a cell complex is cut by the boundary data; a cycle formation step S4 for dividing each parallelepiped cell into a boundary cell 13b with the cutting point and a non-boundary cell without any cutting point, and for finding a cutting segment 11 between the cell surface and the boundary data for each boundary cell, and for forming a cutting segment cycle 12 where the cutting point 9 and the cutting segment 11 are alternately connected to each other and closed; an in-cycle division step S5 for dividing the inside of the cutting segment cycle into in-cycle triangles 12a sharing adjacent sides; and a simplification step S6 for integrating the plurality of cutting points in each ridge line into one point, and for registering the in-cycle triangles in the cell.
