摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promptly optimize engine speed in a fast idle time. SOLUTION: This engine control device is provided with: a detection part 63 for the number of revolutions for detecting the number of revolutions of an engine 12; a fast idle control part 66 for executing feedback control by correcting the opening of a sub-throttle valve 42 so as to bring an actual number of revolutions detected by the detection part 63 for the number of revolutions in a fast idle time close to a target number of revolutions; and an initial opening setting part 67 for setting the initial opening of a main throttle valve 40 at a value when an actual number of revolutions was set within an allowable range of a target number of revolutions in the prior fast idle time by interlocking it with setting of the initial opening of the sub-throttle valve 42 in a fast idle time at a value when the actual number of revolutions was set in an allowable range of a target number of revolutions in the prior fast idle time.
