<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which image processing is performed, while feeding a document mechanically and performing image formation in printing mode corresponding to the results of image processing, and to provide an image processor, an image processing method, program and a storage medium. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 10, equipped with an auto document feeder 12, comprises an image area separating section 86 for assigning a two-dimensional block containing a plurality of pixels continuous in the main scanning direction and the vertical scanning direction to the acquired image data, deciding that the two-dimensional block is a chromatic color block and creating an attribute value indicative of a chromatic color block, a chromatic color deciding section 90 for assigning a vertical scan one-dimensional block to the image data, creating a second attribute value, indicating that at least the image data of vertical scan one-dimensional block is a chromatic color pixel and generating chromatic color decision data by using the second attribute value, and a controller 82 for receiving the chromatic color decision data and performing chromatic color decision of a document. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
