SOLUTION: In an electronic money settlement system that performs a settlement process using an electronic money card 21 storing electronic money information, the electronic money card 21 has an electronic money storage part 27 for readably storing electronic money information and a discount rate storage part 28 for storing a predetermined discount rate. The discount rate is read from the discount rate storage part 28 and the settlement process is performed from the electronic money storage part 27 according to the discount rate.
