摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical component designed such that birefringence and crack, arising from differences in thermal expansion coefficient between optical functioning parts, such as a transparent substrate and a micro lens array, are restrained and high optical performance is exhibited, and to provide a micro lens array substrate, and a manufacturing method for them. <P>SOLUTION: The micro lens array substrate according to the invention includes the transparent substrate 1, and the micro lens array 2 formed on the transparent substrate 1. Each of the micro lenses 21 composing the micro lens array 2 is made of high-melting-point glass powders 212 and low-melting-point glass powders 213.
