PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a called party information to a coverage point when a branch system relevant to the called party side extension is in a processing mode corresponding to a fault in a distributed PBX system. SOLUTION: At the processing mode corresponding to a fault of a branch contained in a distributed private branch exchange communication system, the called party information is provided to a support of functionality which needs an information for identifying the called party. In a more concrete target, a coverage path used at the time of processing operation corresponding to the fault comes to be available, and an operation of the system establishes a connection which looks like normal to a caller via a public switched telephone network to an extension line or the coverage point.
