PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid leaving unnecessary files when recording contents in files. SOLUTION: When a recording halt request sent to middleware 41 from a user interface 40 during track change processing depends on a timer, a cancellation current flag is established in the middleware 41, and after data definite notice of the track changed to the middleware 41 from the firmware/hardware 47 is sent out, the changed track is deleted based on the cancellation current flag, and thereby it can be recognized that the changed track is surely unnecessary for a user and the changed track can be deleted automatically.
