PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor capable of ongoingly providing a high-quality toner image free from the occurrence of the void of a character image, the degradation in the sharpness of the character image and the fogging due to a cleaning defect even after conduction of a number of sheets of printing without coating application of a solid lubricant on a photoreceptor surface, and to provide an image forming apparatus, a process cartridge, and a color image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor having a photosensitive layer on a conductive base is characterized in that the surface layer of the electrophotographic photoreceptor contains di-block copolymer of an A-B type, provided that A is a polycondensation-based polymer having a repeating unit expressed by general formula (1) and has a component to lower the surface energy only at B of one terminal of the copolymer and the B component forms domains of a number average grain size 1 to 100 nm.
