MULTICARRIER COMMUNICATION DEVICE AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device capable of taking advantage of networks by means of the communication using a plurality of carriers.

SOLUTION: Digital transmitting signals output from a digital signal processor 1 are converted into analogue signals in an analogue circuit 2 to be transmitted from transmitting channels 61, 62 via a communication transformer 3. The communication device has a plurality of communication modes for performing communications in communication ranges different from each other. A controller 11 of the digital signal processor 1 changes an output of the transmitting signals depending on the communication modes. Specifically, communication quality of the transmitting signals is detected to lower the output of the transmitting signals insofar as the communication quality detected is not lowered to a predetermined quality.
