<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To check images all at once without a complicated operation after photographing when the images are continuously photographed. <P>SOLUTION: In a digital camera 10, when a quick view flag F is zero in step S118, the process of any one of the steps S126 to S130 is performed, and quick image data corresponding to a counter value n indicating the number of photographs is created and stored in a quick view VRAM. Subsequently, the processing returns to step S116, where an image capture routine is performed according to a photographing mode. Meanwhile, when the value of the quick view flag F is 1 in step S118, a quick view is displayed in step S134.
