PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress occurrence of pre-ignition of hydrogen in changing over used fuel from gasoline to hydrogen, in a dual fuel engine capable of executing changeover between hydrogen and gasoline. SOLUTION: When the changeover of used fuel from the gasoline to the hydrogen is determined (step S5) and an engine load is high, execution of the changeover of the used fuel from the gasoline to the hydrogen is prohibited until the engine load becomes low.
