PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wooden diagonal brace material installing structure capable of firmly installing an end part of a wooden diagonal brace material in a right-angled reentrant corner part of a rectangular framework structure part adopted for a wall of a wooden building. SOLUTION: A connecting metal fitting 12 is installed inside a corner installing metallic material 11 installed in the reentrant corner part 9 of the rectangular framework structure part 1. An installation member 14 having a bolt inserting hole 23 is installed in parallel to the longitudinal direction of this wooden diagonal brace material 6 in the wooden diagonal brace material 6, and a projected corner part of the end part of the wooden diagonal brace material 6 in a state of being adjacent to the corner installing metallic material 11 is pressed to the reentrant corner part 9 of the rectangular framework structure part 1 by screwing a bolt 13 inserted into the bolt inserting hole 23 in a nut 20 of the connecting metal fitting 12.
