PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backing steel member mounting hardware and a backing steel member mounting structure requiring a less quantity of steel as compared with a conventional technology without needing finishing work on the indoor side, dispensing with processing of lightweight cellular concrete at a site and consideration of wind force characteristics for every district, and usable in buildings of high rise and medium-low rise. SOLUTION: A cutout part 1a is formed in a length direction at a part of a horizontal piece 1d along either one of vertical pieces 1b, 1c, and the upper end of at least one of the two vertical pieces 1b, 1c is mounted to a skeleton.
