<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical capacitor device having improved heat resistant property, while the increase of physical constitution is being suppressed, and to provide a manufacturing method of the capacitor device. SOLUTION: After housing an electrode assembly (also referred to as a capacitor element) in an almost cylinder-shaped case 1, the side face of the cylinder-shaped case 1 is caulked to the direction to the small diameter of the case. As a result, the close contacting property between the outer circumferential surface of the capacitor element and the inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical case can be markedly improved. Accordingly, the temperature of the capacitor element is dropped and the life the of the capacitor device can be prolonged, without increasing the physical constitution per capacitance due to the increase in heat radiating area and the lowering of power density.</p> |
