PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing a tubular base ring with beads in which a metal mold 156 having grooves 151, 152 is disposed adjacent to the outer circumference of a tubular base ring 1, a coil 157 for electromagnetic forming is disposed inside the tubular base ring 1, and the tubular base ring 1 is expanded in a diameter direction to form a tubular ring 164 with beads so that the tubular base ring 1 is uniformly sucked in the grooves 151, 152. SOLUTION: The molding plane of a mold 156 is substantially surface-symmetric with a plane orthogonal to the axial direction at the center position in the axial direction as a symmetric plane. The center position in the axial direction of the tubular base ring 1 is coincident with the center position of the axial direction of the mold 156. The inside diameter of the molding plane of the mold 156 is the smallest at the center position, where an outer circumferential surface of the tubular base ring 1 is brought into contact with the molding plane of the mold 156.
