PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inorganic nonaqueous electrolyte solution battery with restrained rise of inner resistance after a long period of storage, with a small voltage fall at an initial stage of discharge at discharge after the long period of storage, and with excellent load characteristics. SOLUTION: The inorganic nonaqueous electrolyte solution battery is provided with an anode active material made of alkali metal, a cathode collector made of a porous molding body separated by a separator from the anode active material with carbon as a main constituent material, and electrolyte solution having oxy-halide as the cathode active material used as an electrolyte solvent. By adding a compound with a salt of sulfonic acid adjacently combined to aryl to at least a part of the inorganic nonaqueous electrolyte solution battery, rise of an inner resistance of the inorganic nonaqueous electrolyte solution battery after a long period of storage is restrained, and load characteristics are improved with a small voltage fall at an initial discharge at discharge after a long period of storage.
