PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric valve gear in which the control characteristics of flow is improved, while reducing the overall length of a valve element and having small pressure loss. SOLUTION: This electric valve gear comprises the valve element 11, having a screw hole 16 threaded with a screw part 9 formed on the rotating shaft 6 of a motor 1 and set to be retractable and not pivotable and a valve seat 19, of which the degree of opening is controlled by the valve element 11. A projecting part 22 is formed on the valve element 11 from its center part in the direction of the valve seat, and a recessed part 23, arranged continuously with one end of the screw hole 16, is formed in the projecting part 22. Consequently, the valve element 11 is allowed to advance and retreat, without increasing the overall length thereof, and the projecting part 22 functions for streamlining fluid.
