PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection method detecting abnormalities in a wiring of a sensor circuit network 1, without increasing a column wiring 2a and row wiring 2b. SOLUTION: For example, when the abnormality of the column #1 and the column #2 of the sensor circuit network 1 is detected, a beginning end of the column #1 is connected to low electrical potential side of a pull-up resistor Rp. The beginning end of the column #2 is connected to the ground. A closed circuit is formed by connecting the pull-up resistor Rp and a resistor Rd in series. Then, a specified voltage is applied to the closed circuit, the voltage between terminals of the pull-up resistor Rp is output to ECU. If the closed circuit is opened, the voltage between terminals becomes 0 V, if the closed circuit is short-circuited, the voltage between terminals becomes equipotential to the applied voltage to the closed circuit. If there is no abnormality in the two column wirings 2a (#1, #2) forming the closed circuit, a partial voltage äR×Vcc/(R+Rp)}, corresponding to the resistance ratio between the pull-up resistor Rp and the resistor Rd, is detected.
