An electric power steering device includes a switching relay (70) for switching between a first route not passing through a boost circuit (50) and a second route passing through the boost circuit (50) as a power supply route from a battery (60) to an assist electronic control device (31). When the battery voltage is equal to or above a predetermined voltage, the switching relay (70) is turned off so as to supply power from the first route. When the battery voltage is lower than the predetermined voltage, the switching relay (70) is turned on so as to feed the output of the boost circuit (50) to a regulator (41). Thus, even when the voltage of the battery (60) is lowered, an appropriate power voltage is supplied to the assist electronic control device (31) so as to enable assist control.
