<p>The device for portioning of a product string, especially a sausage string, into individual segments (2a) of predetermined length, has the portioning tool (18) rotatable on a first circular path around a first axis (16) and rotatable on a second circular path around a second axis (20,21), wherein the first and second axis are arranged at a distance from each other, and the rotational movements (A,C) around the first and second axis are controllable independently of each other. An independent claim is included for a method for portioning of a product string, especially a sausage string by use of the proposed device.</p> |
