A yarn-derived glass granule for reinforcing structures in general, consisting of granules with a rounded shape, wholly made of glass and formed by a porous nucleus and by an outer surface which forms a hard and compact shell is provided.
With respect to the known glass yarns, the yarn-derived glass granules according to the present invention have the advantage of having a lower density, with the result of allowing the manufacturing of a construction lighter than those obtained with the traditional technology with reinforcing glass yarns, even if the same mechanical resistance properties are maintained. |
