Triflusal-containing polymers for stent coating

New polymeric compounds which carry triflusal and which result from the polymerization of 2-(methacryloyloxy)ethyl 2-acetyloxy-4-(trifluoromethyl)benzoate with butyl acrylate are described. These new polymers exhibit good adhesion and crack-bridging properties and are particularly suitable for the coating of stents.
