FIELD: plastic working of metals, namely shaping blanks in rollers, possibly manufacture of bent channel shapes of coated materials in continuous and piece production processes. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of folding and bending members of shape for further straightening them; at first two transitions imparting to blank cup-shaped contour in its cross section with maximum curvature in zones of future bent portions and zero curvature in its center and in end portions; at next transitions bending under peripheral members for further gradually straightening them and bottom of shape; at final transition sizing shape while setting radius values of bent zones for each transition according to given formula. ^ EFFECT: improved quality of shapes, lowered number of transitions. ^ 1 dwg, 2 ex |
