SLAB CLEANING METHOD IN FRONT OF FURNACE WITH ROLLER HEARTH IN COMPACT CASTING-ROLLING COMPLEX

FIELD: production of thin slabs by rolling in condition of compact casting-rolling complex. ^ SUBSTANCE: complex includes slab casting plant; apparatus for cutting slab; furnace for equalizing temperature; one or more rolling stands with coiling unit. Apparatus for hydraulic scale breaking includes one lower (relative to slab) and one upper spraying tubes; each tube is provided with spraying jet. Apparatus for hydraulic breaking of scale is arranged in front of furnace with roller hearth and it is connected with apparatus for supplying water by technologically needed pressure. Hydraulic breaking apparatus includes chute for feeding to it scale and drained water. In said chute unit for separating water and solid matters is arranged. ^ EFFECT: enhanced heat transfer condition, improved quality of produced strip. ^ 8 cl, 1 dwg
