The apparatus has a signal-processing unit (210) to cross mix the left and right channel signals (BL,BR) with the gain and delay adjusted left and right channel signals. A signal-processing unit (220) adjusts the frequency characteristic of the left and right channel signals obtained from the mixers. The signal processing unit (210) has a pair of gain units (212,216) to adjust gain of right and left channel signals with predetermined gain values, a pair of delay units (214,218) to delay the output signals of respective gain units with respective delay values and a pair of adders (219-1,219-2) to add a signal delay adjusted by the delay units to the right and left channel signals. The signal-processing unit (220) has a pair of filters (222,224) for adjusting the frequency characteristic of the signal mixed by the respective adders. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) cross talk processing apparatus; (2) cross talk canceling method; (3) computer readable medium storing program for canceling cross talk; and (4) sound generating method. |
