摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard disk drive capable of securing torque of a spindle motor, without boosting current, by increasing the number of wire windings of a magnetic circuit. SOLUTION: A hard disk drive 100 is equipped with a spindle motor 110 for rotating a disk 120, a base plate 130 for supporting the spindle plate 110 and an actuator 140 for rotationally moving a head 145. The spindle motor 110 is arranged along a direction toward circumference centering around a spindle axis and equipped with a plurality of magnetic circuits in which a coil is wound around the circumference for the shaft core. The magnetic circuit is equipped with a first magnetic circuit 160a arranged within an operation area R of an actuator 140 and having a first form extended in the direction toward the shaft core of the magnetic circuit, and a second magnetic circuit 160b arranged outside the operation area of the actuator 140 and having a second form extended toward the direction perpendicular to the shaft core of the magnetic circuit.
