摘要 #CMT# #/CMT# The method involves screwing a spark plug (1) and measuring a tightening torque of the plug during the screwing. A tensile stress created by the screwing of the plug in a reception shaft (6) is measured during the screwing by a load washer (3). A movement of the plug in the shaft in a screwing direction (1a) is measured during the screwing by a displacement transducer (4) to determine the amplitude of displacement between an initial position corresponding to the start of the screwing and a final position corresponding to crushing of a joint (2) arranged between the plug and shaft. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used for determining screwing parameters of a spark plug in a reception shaft (claimed) of a cylinder head. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The measurement of the tightening torque, tensile stress and movement of the plug can be sent to a data base, thus determining the optimized screw parameters in a precise manner, and tracing tightening curves based on the measured parameters in real time. The crushing of the joint provides desired sealing and heat conductivity to the spark plug. The method avoids the dismounting for crushing the joint and improves the knowledge on the assembling of the spark plug.
