PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a run flat tire capable of heightening durability of a run flat while holding down increase of tire weight and deterioration of riding comfort. SOLUTION: A cushion rubber layer is arranged between two belt plies in a run flat tire. When a point on a tire outer face isolated from a tire equatorial plane C by a distance SP of 45% of a tire maximum section width SW is designated as P, a curvature radius RC of the tire outer face is gradually reduced between the tire equatorial plane C and the point P. When radial distances between respective points on the tire outer face isolated from the tire equatorial plane C by distances X60, S75, S90 and X100 of 60%, 75%, 90% and 100% of a half width (SW/2) of the tire maximum section width SW and a tire equatorial point CP are designated as Y60, Y75, Y90 and Y100 and a tire section height is designated as SH, relationships of 0.05<Y60/SH≤0.1, 0.1<Y75/SH≤0.2, 0.2<Y90/SH≤0.4, and 0.4<Y100/SH≤0.7 are satisfied.
