The rectangular feed chute for supplying raw materials such as grass- or corn-silage into biogas fermenters, where the chute runs straightly and is attached to a horizontal plane of a fermenter wall (2) in an inclined angle of 25-45[deg]. The feed chute is designed in such a manner that the raw material is pushed into the fermenter directly through the feed chute with the help of a wheeled loader (5) or similar equipment. An opening facing the fermenter, is immersed in a fluid and the oppositely lying or rather outer-lying opening lies above the fluid level (3). An interior of the chute has a mobile or stationary baffle (8), which prevents the back-flow of the solid raw material pushed into the chute.
