<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactor in which a temperature difference is made between a reacting part at a high temperature and a reacting part at a low temperature to protect the connection part from excessive stress. <P>SOLUTION: A micro-reactor module 1 is provided with a high-temperature reaction part 4 having modifying vessels 506, 510 and a combustion vessel 508, a low-temperature reaction part 6 having a carbon monoxide remover 512, a connecting pipe 8 installed between the high-temperature reaction part 4 and the low-temperature reaction part 6, and a thermal insulation package 200 housing the above. Only the connecting pipe 8 is installed between the high-temperature reaction part 4 and the low-temperature reaction part 6.
