PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image data processor capable of processing of image data recorded on an external recording medium on condition that the external recording medium which is connected detachably can communicate with a user's terminal. SOLUTION: The image data processor 1 is equipped with an information acquisition means 1a of acquiring information (ID information etc.) relating to an external memory 10 connected detachably to an external memory I/F 9, a decision means 1b of deciding whether the acquired information meets a specified condition (whether contact destination information such as an electronic mail address of the user of the external memory 10 is registered in the ID information), and an instruction means 1b of instructing a printing section 6 to process the image data recorded in the external memory 10 when deciding that the information meets the specified condition (i.e. the contact destination information of the user of the external memory 10 is registered in the ID information).
