PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide wireless equipment capable of stably performing radio communication with an opposite party. SOLUTION: In the wireless equipment, an intensity detecting means 30 detects reception radio wave intensity RSSI1 to RSSI6 of radio waves received by an array antenna 10 while sequentially switching directional beams of the array antenna 10 to directional beams BM1 to BM6 by a directional switching means 20. A beam determining means 40 determines a plurality of directional beams BM_PREF suitable for radio communication on the basis of the reception radio wave intensity RSSI1 to RSSI6 detected by the intensity detecting means 30. A communication means 50 performs radio communication with another wireless apparatus while switching the directional beams to be set on the array antenna 10 within the range of the plurality of directional beams BM_PREF as needed.
