ORGANOMETALLIC COMPLEX AND LIGHT-EMITTING ELEMENT AND LIGHT-EMITTING DEVICE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substance emitting red phosphorescence closer to the red chromaticity coordinates of the NTSC (National Television System Committee) Standard. SOLUTION: An organometallic complex is represented by general formula (1) (wherein, R1to R3represent each any of a hydrogen, a halogen group, an acyl group, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, an aryl group, a cyano group and a heterocyclic group, with the proviso that at least one of the R1to R3represents an electron-attracting substituent; M represents a group 9 element or a group 10 element; n is 2 when M is the group 9 element; and n is 1 when M is the group 10 element).
