PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal device for operating a video server in which an operation picture and a confirmation picture can be simultaneously viewed on one terminal and further, improvement in operability can be attained. SOLUTION: In a control section 125 of an operating terminal 12, not only a recording operation picture and a preview operation picture are generated but also broadcasting material data under recording into a memory 111 of a video server 11 are acquired by followup reproduction, so that a follow-up reproduced video image can be simultaneously displayed within the recording operation picture on a display section 124.
