PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device with a new function of giving assistance to specify a causal setting item of trouble due to unexpected setting change when the trouble is solved. SOLUTION: The communication device is equipped with a control means C which decides at least the date when setting contents are set or setter information when the setting contents are set through an operation means A and automatically registers it in a setting storage means B corresponding to a setting item.
